Add Turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin-coriander powder, little garam masala and salt. Now, add the boiled dal and bring it to boil. Eggless Banana Cake

This is a recipe my friend sent me. It is easy, quick, tried and tested.

Ingredients
• 3 cups cake flour, sifted
• 5 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
• 375 ml milk
• 2 cups bananas, pureed
• 125 g margarine or butter, melted
• 3/4 cup light brown sugar or white sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Method
Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
Sift first three ingredients together.
Whisk pureed bananas, milk, vanilla essence, sugar and butter together. (It is important that the pureed bananas are smooth and there are no lumps). Add dry ingredients gradually into wet ingredients, mixing well.
Pour into well buttered rectangular tin or oven roasting pan and bake for 20 to 30 minutes or till lightly browned on top and skewer comes out clean.
